It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the eighth annual conference of the Association for Researchers in Psychology and Health (ARPH) on January 24th & 25th, 2019. The conference will be held at the seaside village Egmond aan zee, in Hotel Zuiderduin, and will be hosted by the Department of Medical Psychology of the Amsterdam UMC.
We would like to extend a warm invitation to the conference, to exchange state-of-art research findings and innovative approaches concerning the field of psychology and health. By meeting fellow researchers throughout the field, the conference provides ample opportunities to inspire, exchange ideas and form collaborations. In addition to traditional presentation formats such as symposia, oral and poster presentations, the program will facilitate interactive engagement of both junior and more senior researchers.
We are especially pleased to announce our distinguished keynote speakers:
Prof. Rona Moss-Morris, Professor of Psychology as Applied to Medicine, King’s College London
Title: Conceptualising adjustment to long term physical health conditions: Implications for treatment.
Prof. Frank Snoek (Amsterdam UMC)
Title: Diabetes psychology: contributions and challenges
Dr. Daniel Lakens (Technical University Eindhoven)
Title: Towards a more efficient and reliable science
Abstract submission is open from August 1st until September 30th , 2018. Registration will be open in November and the preliminary program will then be available.

We look forward to welcoming you in 2019 for an inspiring conference !
