IN PSYCHOLOGY AND HEALTH

The Association for Researchers in Psychology and Health (ARPH) aims to stimulate and coordinate the academic study and application of psychological approaches to health and illness within Belgium and The Netherlands. The Association’s mission is to stimulate and coordinate the academic study of psychological approaches to health and illness by providing a platform for researchers to exchange knowledge and research initiatives on the study of health promotion, prevention of illness, and rehabilitation, to direct the development of new theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of psychology and health, and to initiate regular meetings between institutes and persons involved in the scientific study of psychology and health.

ARPH Conference 2025 in Heerlen

On March 27th and 28th of 2025, the 14th edition of the ARPH congress will take place in Heerlen. This time the congress will be organized by the Open University of the Netherlands.

Annual Conferences

The Association of Researchers in Psychology and Health (ARPH) organizes an annual conference. Each year, the conference is hosted by a different research group that is represented in the ARPH.

Past conferences were held in Maastricht (2024), Twente (2023), Egmond aan Zee (2022, 2020 & 2019, online (2021), Tilburg (2018), Leiden (2017), Maastricht (2016), Gent (2015), Groningen (2014), Enschede (2013) and Lunteren (2012).
